Made by Zeiss/Eltro, the Orion 80 Fero Z-51 Night vision scope is a Gen 1 and manufactured in Germany. According to some sources, these are still utilized by select units of the German Bundeswehr. A Starlight night vision scope, it features XX211 and XX1340 image intensifier tubes, reticle adjustments, focusing knob, flash protection, on/off button, reticle brightness control, shade control, and comes in it’s original hard shell case.   The Z-51 operates on two standard C batteries.
